the white has been built up from Black, a layer of Fortress Grey, and several layers of very thinned Skull White. Takes its time, but is worth the effort i find.
Too bad I still sucked at wetblending back when I did these, i could have incorporated more shading (almost nothing is visible on the pics . Flash too strong I guess) right while I was at it...
