Rhiannon,
A good effort.
The paint looks to be a liitle thick and blotchy, and it could benefit from using some stronger highlighting and shading to give it a bit more of a 3D look.
You're up against some very, very good painters in this year's competition, so do not be discouraged.
As you well know practice makes perfect.

You could experiment with one of the citadel washes, and apply it on your model. I like to use them because it covers my many mistakes, then after that I go back and pick out small details like jewelry etc. Good effort though

Thanks Sir Guy.
Though 3d effects/visuals are -not- my friends, so I'm afraid to see what my work would look like!
It's just a matter of getting back into practice (I've been not painting for a year or so and am trying to work myself back into it)
Angrypseant: I actually did use some of the citadel washes on her; mostly for her hair and cloak.
Under the camera (curse the camera for bring out all the flaws I wouldn't see otherwise!), I see all the mistakes I didn't see until now! :)
