Description:
"Le Chevalier Ermite de Malmont" is French and means "The Hermit Knight of Malmont". This miniature is ultra-rare. It was only available at the first French Games Day in 1997. There were only about 800 of these miniatures made, so it was quite difficult (and also not cheap) to get it.

You lucky, lucky bastard! Where did You get it from? And did You have to trade Your soul for it?
:)
No, not my soul :)
But sure it was the most expensive miniature I ever bought. Hope my wife never finds out ;)
I got it from a guy from France who was a former GW employee.
The Hermit of Malmont! The Holy Grail of Bret minis! (apart from those unreleased [email protected], although I like to think that they don't really count) Obviously, you are a very devout servamt of the Lady, or she would never have gifted you with this magnificent acquisition! (Did your French friend happen to have more than one, BTW? )
Messire, I seriously hope we will be seeing some painted pics?
I saw him on Ebay for 120 CHF :(
That's close to what I paid. I don't think you will get him much cheaper than that.
I think you want me to paint him. I didn't dare so far, but I think I will do it this year.
Got this mini from ebay going to make a nice Oxidized statue for a scenery piece in mousillon :)
Just cause I can lol but yes this is a rare one for sure
