I think this miniature is really well painted and I love the standard.
However, the choice of red on blue doesn't work so well, due to the lack of sufficient contrast between the two colours. That's the very reason why, in heraldry, a tincture (colour) shouldn't be combined with another tincture.
Anyway, well done, nonetheless!

basic color scheme of Bretonnia combines blue and red bout 50/50, so the thought was not so odd... Also, a single color paint job can be nice. What I like about this one character in particular, is the chainmail/helmet
