A long time anticipated, a new 3D Computer-Strategy game has been announced (just today!) for Warhammer: "Mark of Chaos"!
The game will come out in 2006, but there are already some great Screenshots.

ImageIt has been in the old Forum for some time now, but because of the disorder there, it's worth posting it here again:
Forgeworld now has some nice Bretonnian Reliquary Items in their Program. They can be found in their Webshop. With them, you can either build some custom-made Reliquary for your Grail Pilgrims, or use the Shrine available from Forgeworld to create a Bretonnian Shrine.

Here is my step-to-step project of building two Trebuchets for the use in my Bretonnian Army. One is going to be loaded, the other one has just fired. The results are available in the Gallery.

I don't like the original from GW much, being not even bigger than a cavalry model! The first inspiration came from this picture, I am trying to stay as close to that as possible. More background information about the functionality of a Trebuchet and many pictures can be found on Wikipedia.

Literature - The Tragic Tale of Lady Si'anelle of Avelorn

It is said that beside the pool named 'Despairing' within the Forest of Avelorn there does dwell a great toad...." The Elf lady did lower her lashes, her unpleasant smile hidden from Si'anelle's sight as she did continue to address her companions. "It is also said that this great toad does possess a pearl of peerless size and beauty. And should any of pure intent risk the dangers of the forest, asking of the toad to gift the pearl to them, the toad will give of it. So long as the pearl shall be a gift to another and the name of the one chosen to receive the pearl be spoken with an honest heart."
