The Bretonnian Lord I always field in games actually comes to 244 points...4 points over the legal limit of this arena....but as long as there is no way a challenge can be refused in this type of battle I can arrange it to be 234. (Just drop the Guantlet of the Duel)

All the bouts will count as challenges. I'll edit the article to make this clear.

Hello Good Knights;
I am Armond, personal squire to my lord, Sir Christoph Tetreaux of Couronne.
He sends his good wishes, and looks forward to seeing new friends in combat.

here's a quick question: i'm choosing the virtue of the ideal, so i now have I7. In the article it states that after charges combat is at the same time. Is there an exception for this virtue? would i strike beforehand?

Re:The First Arena of Honour 8 Years, 9 Months ago
Sorry for the delay in replying, I needed to have a good think about this as I (rather foolishly) failed to see it coming. My decision is that yes, a knight with a higher initiative will strike first during the standard combat as the general idea is to play this as close to the Warhammer rules as possible. I'll update the rules to reflect this.
Keep the questions coming - it's only through spotting loopholes that we can improve the rules, and I can make changes a lot quicker than GW
As of this morning, we have eight entries. I will be starting an 'entrants' section on the page so people can see who has signed up. I could probably take up to 32 (5 rounds of combat) - it would be great if we could get that many!

First come first served
I'll most likely also join up, but not before after the weekend. To reach as many knights as possible, I'd also encourage everyone to spread the word to other Warhammer sites, everyone can participate!
You have to create an account here at the site before, but that's done in less than 30 seconds, including the email approval

It has come to my attention that I forgot to add an option to take a lance + magic weapon. Rest assured that this is legal - if you wish to do this, then please specify that you want a lance in the 'other information' box. Knights with a lance and magic weapon will use the lance when charging and the magic weapon thereafter.
We're now up to 13 entries. I will be closing entries in a weeks time.

Certainly. It would be best if you send me an email or PM so I can keep things together in my folder.

That's right - 240 points max, and once you've made up the character that's it. I will roll the dice and write up the combats. You can (and hopefully will) take part in some role-playing of the people at the arena, but you don't have to.

Re:The First Arena of Honour 8 Years, 8 Months ago
are opponentes considerated in a challenge?
Does the Tress of Isoulde work in each combat? or only once for the all arena?
Can we enter a character of 241 points?

Yes, it's considered a challenge.
Tress of Isoulde will work once per combat. If you don't specify otherwise, it will be used on the first turn of the combat.
241 point characters are not allowed. Sorry, but 240 is the rule (and what with the Grail Vow costing 21 points, 241 would suddenly open up a whole array of possibilities to Grail Knights).
