The player I face runs a big block of bulls with bsb and firebelly, 2 random sabretusks, 3-6 maneaters, and 2 units of 10 gnoblars (he runs the gnoblars for laughs).
What I take is a Lord with gromril helm, Virtue of Confidence, shield, birthsword, and gauntlet of duel. a bsb with Heroic kb, level 2 caster w/ life. A big ole' bus of knights and a smaller detachment of grails, along with bowmen and a treb.
I duel charge his block with my knights and challenge a character(getting to reroll EVERYTHING rules!
) while the grails either act as deterents for maneaters or join in on the fun if my fire-support have the maneaters taken care of. trebuchet launches rocks at the big block until I'm locked in combat with it, then it goes on gnoblar patrol. If you can break his big block of ogres, no matter the player, his army will crumble and the day will most likely be yours unless if you are really unlucky or have almost nothing left.
