What a great looking army, and great use of varied color to tie them all together.

Thank you! Yes I feel that varied colours make the Bretonnians really stand out from other armies with more uniform colours. It gets a bit hard after a while though since I want every knight to be unique and at the same time avoid having too many colours so the units look like easter eggs.

I'm almost done with the Green Knight, next up is the Fay Enchantress which I look forward to paint. I also want to add some extra detail on the bases for the entire army, so I found these meadow flowers from Army Painter. Anyone having any experience of using them?

Army Painter meadow flowers and their other scenery tufts are exceptional, and really add an extra dimension to basing. They're easy to use, dry easily with PVA glue, and look great to boot. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the recommendation Gastion! I'm going to try those out.

The Green Knight is finished! Just the base left to be done.

I also began another project, the bovine launcher! The pinnacle of peasant engineering. Just need to find something to use as the counterweight.

eh eh, nice idea.
I think there should be more "tension" on the rope and it should look more like a straight line.

My Lord TvetovNato,

Your Green Knight looks brilliant. As for the bovine launcher I think it's a great idea, can't wait to see it finished.

My favourite adds. Works over grass or moss. Cut out with a knife or scissors, if you try to "rip" of segments you'll lose the tuffs.

Great construction on that Trebuchet. Agree on tightening the ropes, it will look odd once painted otherwise.

Thank you all for you input! I tried to make the ropes straighter but them being made from steel wire makes it hard to straighten them more than they are now, looks fine in my eyes though. Almost finished with the entire thing, just some details and the base to be done.

WIP Fay Enchantress.

It's coming out..ok I suppose. I've never had much problems with finecast before but this model had alot of flash, holes and excess resin to be cut of. This made it so much harder to get the model right, a lot of detailing was lost.

I am loving the cow catapult

I may have to go watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail this weekend.

Thank you for putting this together!

I am sorry you had this issue with Finecast... I have a few models that I have yet to break out that were produced during GWs finecast experiment. Hopefully they will come out ok. This lady looks really good, can't notice the issues you pointed out.
