I don't think it's proof that gw can do whatever they want, so much that it's proof that there is a vision of bretonnia that gw is reinforcing. for 25 years there have been no knights on foot unit in bretonnia, throwing one in for schnitzengiggles isn't their style. for 22 years bretonnia hasn't had any gunpowder in the army, why fall back on a crutch like the empire?
