I agree, a few basic paladins would probably be better. A naked paladin is basically a better grail knight because of the added attack and toughness. Plus you can charge them out of the unit to target other threats, as well as give greater target saturation against gunlines. after using 8 or so 6 man units of realms at 2500, I have found that they are invariably better than 10+ model knight units. If you're looking for steadfast take 30+ men at arms.
