Page 2 of 5 The leader stepped forward bravely. "It is our belief that even in death the fallen heroes may inspire us to brave deeds. As they inspired so many in Life, they continue to do so after they have left this physical world." The leader said this pontifically and Cobina winced. The Marquis listened and reflected and answered patiently "Perhaps you are deaf-" He was interrupted by a voice of reason. "What my loving, caring, devoted father is saying is that although he can see your plight, he cannot bring himself to violate any tombs of heroes in the Tract." AndreaLyn now entered the room looking tall and beautiful and dressed in finery. Cobina made a face, leave it to her mature older sister to spoil all the fun. But the argument ended when Lady Donda Bromeliad Gandolfyn spoke. "Kind Sirs, on behalf of the Lady of the Lake, I have taken the liberty of having a map drawn up to the final resting place of Sir Pierre Monserrat, Grail Knight and Champion of Law and Order," She made motion with her hand and a servant gave the map to the Pilgrim Leader. He accepted it with reverence. Lady Gandolfyn turned to the Marquis. "Good Marquis, ye are well known for hospitality to all, couldst thee provide these worthies with refreshment and supplies and an armed escort to the final resting place?" The Marquis nodded. The room was empty within minutes, the Pilgrims happy, the bystanders happy, Lady d'Ascoyne relieved and Cobina looking through the fruit bowl for a ripe pear. Finding two, she grabbed them up, cutting one in half. The Marquis eyed the Prophetess wondering what her game was. "Milord, I do not play at games", she answered matter of factly, "I resolve problems." She walked over to Cobina and took the uncut pear. Biting into it she continued, "Both of you had meritorious arguments." He had given up trying to figure out how she could read minds. "Get on with it," he said. Lady Gandolfyn looked at the Marquis. "I share your disdain for this new practice, Hercule."
