Sir Uther rises to address the Knights and Ladies gathered in the great hall
The Staff at the Round Table always endeavours to full-fill our tasks to the best of our abilities. To that end, your patience as members of this most special of keeps is greatly appreciated! We would never be able to continue our maintenance of these halls without such an amazing community as yourselves.
As such, we are currently making efforts to clear quite a considerable backlog of article submissions and other various works. The first item on that list, is to award some very special knights among us for their excellent submissions for our Anniversary celebrations at the end of 2016!
Sir Guillaume rises beside Uther, producing a scroll from which he begins to read in a booming voice
For the Golden Brush, we had three most excellent pieces whose authors we hope to receive many more such entertaining tales from!
Firstly, and in 3rd place for our 11th Anniversary competition, Sir Jean Dragoncoeur for The Introduction, a gripping lore of a son of Bastonne! Step forth! In second place, we ask you, Red Cross Knight, to step forward and receive your just dues for Forged Anew, a tale of madness in war! And finally, for a most superb of literary pieces, we would ask you, Sir Musing Minstrel, to step forward and be awarded with 1st place for your Survival of Civilization, a window into difficult choices at the most difficult of times.
A great roar of applause rose from the assembled knights and ladies before Sir Guillaume lifted his hand and the applause was silenced
For the Golden Palette, we had not three, but two participants, and for their excellent pieces and devotion to the Roundtable, we have awarded them both with equal standing in our Anniversary celebration award! Sir Jean Dragoncoeur! Lord Etien De Rochefort! Step forward and receive your most justly deserved reward!
The hall erupts into applause once more as both knights kneel before Guillaume, receiving their medals
May you all continue your glorious service in the name of our Lady of Bretonnia, and in the name of our Round Table!
